Jimmy Hui, President/Chief Executive Officer at The Jimmy Hui Foundation office is very pleased to announce that Superintendent Kevin Mulvey, Sara Dufour, Director of Nutrition and the Quincy Public Schools Food Services Department will be distributing the 2024 Summer Eats Program begins on Monday, July 8, 2024 through Friday, August 16, 2024 to opens for all Quincy residents at age of 18 years old and younger are welcome to receive their free breakfast and lunch nutrition meals throughout this summer season here in the City of Quincy.
The 2024 Summer Eats Program is always free of the charge to Quincy residents with age of 18 years old and younger in all across the citywide from Ward 1 through Ward 6 community where your children or grandchildren are attending for the summer program such as: summer school or summer camp such as Quincy Recreation Department or South Shore YMCA throughout the summer season here in the City of Quincy.
The 2024 Summer Eats Program Hours of Operations will begins on Monday through Friday from 11:00 a.m. -- 1:00 p.m. to open for the Quincy residents at age of 18 years old and younger only.
NO PARENTS OR GUARDIANS, FAMILY MEMBERS OR CARETAKERS ARE ALLOWED TO PICK UP FOR THE DISTRIBUTION SITE ON THE BEHALF FOR THE CHILDREN OR GRANDCHILDREN.
There is no need to sign up and registration required. It's covered by the Quincy Public Schools Food Services Department and the United States Department of Agricultural have been funded throughout the summer season here in the City of Quincy.
The Quincy Public Schools Food Services Department is no longer to participating to do the "Grab & Go" service because of the COVID-19 public health emergency come to an end on Thursday, May 11, 2023 per order by President Joe Biden and Governor Maura Healey.
The Quincy Public Schools Food Services Department will distribute with the breakfast and lunch meals to the Quincy residents at age of 18 years old and younger at the site throughout the day.
New Policy from the Quincy Public Schools Food Services for the 2024 Summer Eats Program:

Parents or Guardians, Family Members and/or Caretakers should not take meals on the behalf of their child's behalf or for themselves.

Children at age of 18 years old and younger are allowed to take one lunch per each on their own.
There will be 5 locations will continue distribute with the breakfast and lunch meals for the Quincy residents at age of 18 years old and younger only begins on Monday through Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. depends on the weather permitting whether rain or shine here in the City of Quincy.
