Jimmy Hui, President/Chief Executive Officer at The Jimmy Hui Foundation office is very pleased to announce that Michelle F. Hanly, Director of Recreation and the staff at Quincy Recreation Department will be participating for the Spring Vacation Gym program begins on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 through Thursday, April 18, 2024 to opens for the Quincy residents throughout this spring season here in the City of Quincy.

 

The Spring Vacation Gym Program will run from Tuesday, April 16, 2024 through Thursday, April 18, 2024 begins at 9:00 a.m. -- 12:00 p.m. in all across the citywide here in the City of Quincy.

 

Quincy Recreation Department General Information:

• Gyms will be supervised on the days that they are open from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for free activities.

• Broad Meadows Middle School will be open for activities such as basketball, Uncle Sam, gym games and dodgeball for grade 3 through 8. The dates, days and times are listed below.

• Central Middle School gym will be open for Volleyball for grade 5 through 8.

• Registration will be done on site at each location, grade 3 through 5 will attend from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. and grade 6 through 8 will attend from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

• Participants may attend the program of their choice.

• Some minor changes in times may occur in some locations to accommodate differences in enrollment.

• Participants are requested to wear sneakers at all locations.

• These activities are part of "Quincy On the Go!" programs that are designed to promote beneficial active lifestyle among Quincy youth.

Ward 1 Neighborhood: Broad Meadows Middle School: 50 Calvin Road, Quincy, MA

Tuesday, April 16, 2024 through Thursday, April 18, 2024: 9:00 a.m. -- 12:00 p.m.

 

Ward 5 Neighborhood: Central Middle School: 875 Hancock Street, Quincy, MA

Tuesday, April 16, 2024 through Thursday, April 18, 2024: 9:00 a.m. -- 12:00 p.m.
