Inauguration Program Information:

Jimmy Hui, President/Chief Executive Officer at The Jimmy Hui Foundation and The Happy Acres Foundation office is very pleased to announce that City of Quincy will host their 2024 Inaugural Ceremony to honor of new and current elected officials will take an oath of office to serve as role of: Mayor, City Councilor and School Committee.

 

The Inaugural Ceremony for Mayor and City Councilor will be scheduled on Monday, January 8, 2024 begins at 10:00 a.m. in The Great Hall of Council Chambers at City Hall: 1305 Hancock Street, Quincy, MA to opens for the residents, persons with disabilities, citizens of Quincy, elected officials, City of Quincy employees, first responders and the public are welcome to come and attend the event throughout the morning.

 

There will be seating available for the residents, persons with disabilities, citizens of Quincy, City of Quincy employees, first responders and the public are welcome throughout the day.

 

Mayor Koch's Chief of Staff Chris Walker will be part of Master of Ceremonies throughout the morning to introduce new and current elected officials and the families, state elected officials and the guests.

 

New and Current elected officials: Mayor, City Councilor President and City Councilor will take an oath of office to be administered by City Clerk Nicole L. Crispo throughout the inaugural ceremony in the morning which it would be part of the City of Quincy's charter statue.

 

Mayor Thomas P. Koch will deliver his inaugural speech remarks to the clergy, people of Quincy, state elected officials, new and current elected officials: City Councilor and School Committee and the guests.

 

City Clerk Nicole L. Crispo will ask the Members of the City Councilor to vote for a new elect City Councilor President with a full unanimously consent to approve throughout the ceremony.

 

City Councilor President Ian C. Cain will deliver his inaugural speech remarks to the clergy, people of Quincy, state elected officials, new and current elected officials: Mayor Tom Koch, City Councilor and School Committee and the guests.

 

The Organizational meeting for School Committee will be scheduled on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 begins at 6:30 p.m. at Coddington School Building: 34 Coddington Street, Quincy, MA to opens for the residents, persons with disabilities, citizens of Quincy, elected officials, City of Quincy employees, first responders and the public are welcome to come and attend the event throughout the evening's meeting.

 

New and Current elected officials: School Committee will take an oath of office to be administered by Mayor Thomas P. Koch throughout the organizational meeting in the evening which it would be part of the City of Quincy's charter statue.

 

Mayor and Chairman of School Committee Thomas P. Koch will ask the Members of the School Committee to vote for a new Vice Chairman or Chairwoman of School Committee with a full unanimously consent to approve throughout the ceremony.
