Jimmy Hui, President/Chief Executive Officer at The Jimmy Hui Foundation office is very pleased to announce that Mayor Thomas P. Koch, the Koch Family and the City of Quincy will be hosting their 74th Annual Quincy Flag Day Parade Ceremonies and Fireworks celebration begins on Sunday, June 14, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. where the parade will take place from Quincy Square on Coddington Street intersection in the between of Washington Street & Hancock Street proceeds to Central Middle School facing the water fountain at Merrymount Park proceeds to Merrymount Parkway ends at Adams Field following by the ceremony and fireworks will take place at Pageant Field at Merrymount Parkway to open for the Quincy residents, persons with disabilities, citizens and the public are cordially invited with the first time and first serve to attend this major event throughout the evening during the summer kickoff right here in the City of Presidents.
The 74th Annual Quincy Flag Day Parade, Ceremonies and Fireworks 2025 Celebration is proud to be part of the sponsors by: Quincy Department of Natural Resources, Quincy Park Department and Quincy Recreation Department to host a special events with a full tradition of this great City of Quincy's pride.
The parade will be taking place from Coddington School Building on Coddington Street intersection of: Washington Street & Hancock Street to Central Middle School on Hancock Street then on the way to Adams Field ends on 1 Merrymount Parkway following by the ceremony and fireworks will be taking place over in the hill at Pageant Field is located at 1 Merrymount Parkway, Quincy, MA throughout the rest of this evening here in the City of Quincy.
The 74th Annual Quincy Flag Day Parade, Ceremonies and Fireworks Celebration event is now officially free admission to opens for the Quincy residents, persons with disabilities, citizens, elected officials and the public are cordially invited to come and watch the parade, ceremonies and fireworks right here in the City of Quincy!
Since 70 years ago, the Quincy Flag Day Parade was part of the Koch Club founder by Richard J. Koch who organizes the special events to celebrate on Flag Day in the summer of 1951 to honor of these brave men and women who are currently serving in the military and served as a veterans in the Air Force, Armed Forces, Coast Guard, Marines, National Guard and Navy to fulfilled their duties and responsibilities to keep our country safe and sound in the harm's way right here at home and abroad where they are currently traveling in all across the country and around in the world.
The celebration portion of the evening held at Pageant Field following the parade consists of a flag raising of an impressive 30' X 60' version of Old Glory, a fly-over, a patriotic medley, presentation of awards to the parade grand marshals and the recipient of the Richard J. Koch Youth Service award capped off by dazzling 30 minutes fireworks display over Black's Creek.
The Quincy Access Television (QATV) will broadcast live coverage for the 74th Annual Quincy Flag Day Parade, Ceremonies and Fireworks celebration festivities on QATV Channel 8, QATV.org website and QATV Facebook Live throughout the evening right here in the City of Quincy.
There will be refreshments with the Hoodise Sundae Cup and Poland Spring Water Bottle are provided by the Quincy Recreation Department over the tent at Pageant Field throughout the ceremony and fireworks celebration here in the City of Quincy.
There will be public transportation are provided by the MBTA to use buses and subways to attend the 74th Annual Quincy Flag Day Parade, Ceremonies and Fireworks celebration throughout the evening here in the City of Quincy.
