Jimmy Hui, President/Chief Executive Officer at The Jimmy Hui Foundation office is very pleased to announce that 92nd Annual Thanksgiving Day Football Game returns in the fall season for the high school sports event with a full sponsored by: Quincy Public Schools Athletic Department which it will be held on Thursday, November 28, 2024 begins at 10:00 a.m. at Veteran's Memorial Stadium to opens for the residents, persons with disabilities, citizens, elected officials and the City of Quincy employees are welcome to attend and watch the football game to cheer your favorite sports team: North Quincy High School Red Raiders or Quincy High School Presidents during on the Thanksgiving Day weekend here in the City of Quincy.

Mayor Thomas P. Koch, City Councilor President Ian C. Cain, Vice Chairwoman of School Committee Tina M. Cahill, Members of the City Councilor, Members of the School Committee, Members of the State Delegations, Superintendent Kevin Mulvey, Assistant Superintendent Erin Perkins, Kevin Mahoney, Director of Athletics & Wellness, North Quincy High School Principal Daniel Gilbert, North Quincy High School Assistant Principal for Operations and Student Support Helena Skinner and North Quincy High School Assistant Principal for Teaching and Learning Noreen Holland, Quincy High School Principal Keith Ford and Quincy High School Vice Principal Ellen Murray will be attending for the Thanksgiving Day football at Veteran's Memorial Stadium here in the City of Quincy.

Quincy Access Television (QATV) Sports Coverage:

Jonathan Caliri and Jim Timmins will call in the game for the 90th Annual Thanksgiving Day Football coverage at Veteran's Memorial Stadium to be broadcast on the audio live on QATV Channel 8 between with the North Quincy High School and Quincy High School showdown on Thursday morning here in the City of Quincy.

Quincy Public Schools: Security Department:

There will be several police officers from the Quincy Police Department and several security officers from the Quincy Public Schools presence at Veteran's Memorial Stadium throughout the game in the order to keep maintain with a full crowd control and traffic impacts before, during and after the game on Thursday morning for an additional public safety and security effort during the high school sports event here in the City of Quincy.

 

Michael Draicchio, Director of Safety, Security and Transportation at Quincy Public Schools is in the charge for the public safety and security matters to handle these situations and to continue coordinate effort with the security officers from the North Quincy High School and Quincy High School, police officers from the Quincy Police Department and the paramedics from the Brewster Ambulance throughout the day at Veteran's Memorial Stadium here in the City of Quincy.

 

If you see something or say something to report for any suspicious activity or have anyone who needs a medical attention at Veteran's Memorial Stadium, please inform any security officers from Quincy Public Schools, police officers from Quincy Police Department or paramedics from Brewster Ambulance for an immediate assistance.

High School Sports Event Parking Space:

Please ask the Quincy Police Officer in the uniform for an immediate assistance before, during and after the game.

  • Central Middle School on Hancock Street & St. Ann's Road

  • Fenno Street Basketball & Tennis Courts on Fenno Street

  • Merrymount Park on Merrymount Parkway

  • Mitchell/McCoy Field on Merrymount Parkway

  • Adams Field & Pageant Field on Merrymount Parkway

  • Handicapped Accessible will be available at specific locations

Admission Tickets:

  • $5.00 for students/seniors

  • $5.00 for advanced adults tickets

  • $10.00 for adults at gate

MBTA: Public Transportation:

Wollaston Station or Quincy Center Station can walk down to Veteran's Memorial Stadium via Hancock Street.
