Jimmy Hui, President/Chief Executive Officer at The Jimmy Hui Foundation office is very pleased to announce that Mayor Thomas P. Koch and the City of Quincy officials will be hosting for the special Memorial Day Ceremony begins on Monday, May 27, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at Mount Wollaston Cemetery located on Sea Street, Quincy, MA across the street from the Quincy Police Department and Quincy Department of Public Works area.
The parade procession route will be taking place from Quincy Credit Union at 100 Quincy Avenue, Quincy, MA along to Hancock Street via Temple Street to continuing on Coddington Street ends at Mount Wollaston Cemetery on Sea Street.
The ceremony will take place at Mount Wollaston Cemetery begins at approximately around at 11:15 a.m. -- 11:30 a.m. where Mayor Thomas P. Koch and the City of Quincy officials will deliver their remarks at the podium on Memorial Day ceremony.
On Memorial Day, The Jimmy Hui Foundation and The Happy Acres Foundation office would like to thank the men and women in the United States military for their ultimate service and ultimate sacrifice to protect our nation, our homeland and our country to keep the American people safe and sound right here at home and abroad in the harm's way.
The Jimmy Hui Foundation and The Happy Acres Foundation office would like to pay a full tribute to thank those veterans for their ultimate service and sacrifice on this journey to share their stories about what they have been served during in the World War I, World War II, Korean War, Vietnam War, Iraq War and Afghanistan War.
The Jimmy Hui Foundation and The Happy Acres Foundation office will continue to honor of those veterans lost their lives during in the difficult times and challenges to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic crisis from last year here in the state of Massachusetts.
The American people, people of Massachusetts and the people of Quincy are here to show a full appreciation and small token with the act of kindness to care about our military heroes and the military veterans in all across the community right here at home while in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic crisis to show with a full gesture and hospitality.
This event will be open for the public are welcome to come and invited to attend the ceremony throughout the day.
Mayor Thomas P. Koch will deliver his remarks to the greetings to the City of Quincy on this special occasion to celebrate on Memorial Day ceremony.
City Councilor President/Ward 3 City Councilor Ian C. Cain will deliver his remarks to the greetings to the City of Quincy on this special occasion to the celebrate on Memorial Day.
The Quincy Access Television will broadcast live coverage on QATV Channel 8, QATV.org website and QATV's Facebook Page to open for the public are tuning in to watch the Memorial Day ceremony coverage.
In the event of weather permitting, the Memorial Day ceremony will be held at Quincy High School Gymnasium as planned.
